Some spare parts such as the rubber trim around the bottom of your helmet, chin vents on some newer models, and vents that screw into the shell are service parts or ‘workshop fit’ items. These have to be fitted by a qualified Arai Technician as advised by Arai Japan. The helmet has to come back to us via your local DNA centre and the parts are fitted either under warranty or out of warranty at a cost.
I have been told by my local DNA centre that the replacement part(s) I need for my helmet are a workshop fit item, what does this mean? Print
